給年輕攝影師（我？）的忠告

一班無聊的人，辦了一場無聊的研討會，為年輕攝影師制訂了25條無聊忠告。

Do something old in a new way.
（苦尋創意時，試試傳統的方法。）
用膠片嗎？

Do something new in an old way.
（循規蹈矩時，試試新穎的方法。）
用數碼嗎？

Do something new in a new way. Whatever works, works.
（猶豫不決時，試試不同的方法。總之，不停地嘗試、嘗試。）
這等于沒說嘛～～

Do it sharp-if you can't, call it art.
（把照片拍清楚--如果做不到，就管那些叫"藝術"）
這句我最喜歡！

Do fifty of them-you definitely will get a show.
（這樣持續拍出50張--肯定能做一個展覽。）
問題是有人要來我的展覽嗎？

Do it big-if you can't do it big, do it red.
（制作大幅照片--不然，就讓它更具特色。）
小的也算是特色嗎？

If you don't know what to do, look up, or down-but continue looking.
（當你不知道該拍些什么，就不停的觀察。）
如果觀察后還不知道該拍些什么，那么就別拍，不然就隨便拍。

Do celebrities-if you do a lot of them you'll get a book.

（親自設計）

Publish it yourself.
（親自聯系出版）
walau，不如自己開一間出版社。

Read Darwin, Marx, Freud, Einstein, Benjamin, McLuhan, and Barthes.
（多讀書，擴充你的思維，讀達爾文、馬克思、弗洛伊德、麥克盧漢、愛因斯坦，或者本雅明、羅蘭巴特。）
不如讀可蘭經、圣經、金剛經......

Construct your images from the edges inward.
（真誠地拍攝每一張照片。）
怎么說？

If it's the "real world," do it in color.
（如果你要表現真實，請用彩色）
偶爾復古也不錯嘛～～

If it can be done digitally, do it.
（能用數碼，則用數碼。）
沒錢用膠片。

Be self-centered, self-involved, and generally entitled and always pushing-and damned to hell for doing it.
（充滿自信，全身心投入，不惜一切代價地拍好照片。）
等我發達了就可以這樣做了。

Don't do it about yourself, your friend, or your family.
（不要拍攝自己、朋友或家人。）
為什么？難道要拍仇人？

Don't dare photograph yourself nude.
（不要冒險拍攝自己的裸體。）
別人的裸體呢？

Don't look at old family albums.
（不要總看以前的家庭畫冊。）
懷念下也不行嗎？

Don't hand color it.
（不要手工上色。）
電腦上色呢？

Don't write on it.
（不要亂寫亂畫。）
記錄拍攝人物名字、時間、地點也不行嗎？

Don't use alternative processes-if it ain't straight, do it in the computer.
（不要制作時不停實驗--沒有信心就用電腦來。）
用電腦不停實驗就ok？

Don't gild the lily-a.k.a, less is more.
（不要畫蛇添足--少即是多。）
色即是空？

Don't photograph indigent people-especially in foreign lands.
（不要拍攝窮困潦倒的人--尤其在外國。）
有錢人輪不到我來拍。

Don't whine, Just produce.
（不要抱怨--堅持你的事業。）
訴下苦也不行嗎？

突然

一位朋友寫了一篇《突然》。

其實我這幾天也發生了很多突然。

突然電腦壞了。

山長水遠拿去修理，結果突然沒事了。

突然網路當了。

托了幾天去投訴，回家后突然沒事了。

到底發生什么事啊！？

做么不是突然上神臺了。

做么不是突然人工倍增了。

做么不是突然發達了。
